Report on the 2006 "True Colors" Session

455 people attended the 75th Illinois Grand Assembly Session in Springfield, Illinois from July 7-9, 2006.
Victoria Wehrli, Grand Worthy Advisor 2005-2006 , presided over a sparkling session.
Out of State visitors included guests from 10 jurisdictions:
Canada, California, Florida, Iowa-Minnasota, Missouri, North Dakota, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin.

Members from 19 assemblies attended and all active Rainbow Girls in attendance were voting delegates.
A few of the many awards and highlights include:

G. Wilber Bell Award for Greatest Percentage of increase in membership per Capita:
1st place with 75.0% increase--Jacksonville-Golden #19
2nd place with 26.66% increase--Springfield #18

Kolmer Memorial Award for Assembly bringing in the Most Petitions from Grand to Grand
1st place with 15 petitions--Bloomington/Normal #7
2nd place with 7 petitions--Centralia #1

Butler Memorial Award for Most Petitions in the last year:
1st place with 7 petitions--April Winters, Bloomington/Normal #7
2nd place with 3 petitions--tie between--Tesla Young, Centralia #1; Julie Reeves; Bloomington/Normal #7; and Heather Bednar, Antioch #23

Grand Charity Fund total was $23,061.00 for the American Kidney Fund!!!
