Report on the 2002 "Make a Difference" Session

462 people attended the 71st Illinois Grand Assembly Session in Decatur, Illinois from July 12-14, 2002.
Miss Cynthia Battistella, Grand Worthy Advisor 2001-2002, presided over a lovely session.  Out of State visitors included guests from the following jurisdictions:  California, Kentucky, Nebraska, New York, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. Members from 26 assemblies attended, with 24 sending voting delegates.
A few of the many awards and highlights include:
G. Wilber Bell Award for Greatest Percentage of increase in membership
went to Jacksonville-Golden #19.
Best OverAll Scrapbook was awarded to Sunshine #114.
1st Place in the Pom Pon Competition went to Springfield #18.
Grand Charity Fund total announced 7-13-2002 as $6893.46.
Miss Teresa Carnry and the 2002-2003 Grand Family were installed.
